December 17th, 2006 - So I can’t go to the Living End show at the Croc (pisses me off) and it looks like there is enough life in the scene for our 2nd annual “Sheddie” awards. 2006’s winners for the best in the area coming right up, but first...the news. If no one will adjust the poster, I guess we will... That’s right, DWR is NOT playing the 30th show at the Legion Hall in what promises to be an otherwise stellar way to end 06 and bring in the new year. The Heretix are a PA band that hasn’t played PT yet, and Innuendo is just off a date at Seattle’s Chop Suey while attending the U-dub. Goin South... Looks like The Nihilists will be playing a San Francisco date with the HollowPoints in January, with Portand, LA and Vegas dates in the works. More local shows please?... Other than the 30th, their is a show being planned in March at the Legion Hall, possibly a January show, and PA is looking like it is hosting more shows of late, with a pair of benefits and Andy’s (Minor Imperfection) Schoolyard Heroes show which drew a solid 300. Forces are at work to bring more noise to PT, and summer is just around the corner (OK..up the street)
